Madness

It will be about happiness. I would like it to be only 3 pages long (750-1000 words). In the first page and a half EXPLAIN Aristotle’s ideas of happiness being “absolutely final” and “self-sufficient” (book 1, ch. 7 of Nicomachean Ethics), and WHY Aquinas thinks ONLY the “vision of the Divine Essence” is truly absolutely final and self-sufficient. Then, in the last page and a half, explain YOUR theory of happiness and WHY that thing/state/activity is absolutely final and self-sufficient. This has to be your OWN theory–no research for that part of your paper.

Culture Patterns (Comparative Criminal Justice)

Professor’s Instructions:
Review Cho & DioGuardi (2020), textbooks/Study.com video clips that are related to this module. Write an essay in your own words (a minimum of 500 words), addressing the following questions/instructions. Summarize 4 Japanese cultural patterns (in Reichel Ch10) that may be helpful in understanding Japan’s CJ system.
Are there any similarities and/or differences between the Japanese patterns and the Korean ones indicated in Cho & DioGuardi (2020)?
Do you think these Japanese or Korean cultural patterns are helping their CJ agencies operate effectively? Why? Why not?
What would be your policy recommendations to America that may result from addressing these questions above?

The essay should:
Write an appropriate intro and conclusion.
Provide the total word counts in parentheses at the end of your essay.
Include in-text citations.
Not include a references page.
Not have typos, grammar errors and possible problems with APA format (www.apa.org).
Have less than 30% match rate. The originality will be examined through the percentage of ‘overall match’ in the SafeAssign. Once submitted, the submission portal will inform the ‘match’ percentage. Students may submit multiple times to reach less than 30%. Only last attempt will be graded. Seek any means possible to reduce the match rate.
Not write it directly on this sheet so that you can reduce the percentage of ‘overall match’ in the SafeAssign. Instead, create a new Word file and save it as Module 6_Essay_Your last name.docx, and submit it to the submission portal (Only docx or doc files will be read; other file types will not be accepted).

Your essay will be graded by the grading rubric below. Total 20 pts.

The relevance of John Maynard Keynes and Irving Fisher to modern (21st) century macroeconomics

Each student must submit a research paper on a well-defined topic related to the history of economic thought. Two possible topics appear on the first page of the course outline, but other approved topics are welcome if sufficient bibliographic material is available. The paper should be limited to 7-8 double spaced pages, not including bibliography and any tables or figures you might use. The paper (a) should be paginated; (b) make use of headings, and (c) use APA in-text citations as do all leading economics journals. The way it is approached is however you would like it to be.

Budgeting

At this point, you have developed a hypothetical program model, including staffing and job descriptions, and you now know the basic principles for developing a line item budget. For each component of your program, try to figure out what its costs might be. Take into account the timing of the activity; the personnel costs; any special consultant costs; and the non-personnel costs, such as supplies, equipment, and office space.
Remember to answer each question fully. In-text citations are not required for this assignment as it focuses on your original thoughts! Hypothetical Program Model and Question attached.

Conservative Biology

Answer all questions concisely but completely in a document. Answers should be provided for each question. Give examples and definitions as needed.

You should only use your own knowledge. All uploaded exams will be checked for ACADEMIC INTEGRITY USING SafeAssign.

For answers you can use this class link and lecture slides;
https://sites.google.com/view/env3009/lectures/biodiversity-basics

1. Humans have existed on the planet for a long time. One argument against conservation is that humans are animals. All animals impact and modify their environment. Thus what we do is no different and shouldn’t be regulated. How would you respond to this using information from class?
2. Conservation biology is related to several other disciplines. What are some of the major characteristics of the field (name at least 3) and what makes it unique?
3. What are arguments for and against giving an economic value to nature? Give at least 2 for each with clear examples AND state your final verdict on valuing nature.
4. Diversity can be defined in several ways and using various metrics. Explain this statement, give examples, and explain the value of considering multiple types of diversity in management applications.
5. What is the connection between habitat loss and habitat fragmentation, how do these stressors interact, and what are unique impacts of each?
6. How does the Equilibrium Theory of Biogeography influence conservation biology? Make sure you explain the theory and make clear connections.
7. The logistic, exponential, and geometric models of population growth all suggest small populations will grow. We know this is not always true. Discuss this paradox (what do we call this phenomenon? Why are small populations more likely to go extinct?) and consider how you could modify our growth equations to account for this.
8. Some people consider hunting to be unethical and believe it should be outlawed. What are some positive and negative impacts of hunting on conservation? Name at least 3 for each. How could hunting be best managed if it does exist?

Ponzi Scheme

Ponzi Scheme is known as one of best examples of breach of public trust.
• Watch the following Youtube video and write a 2-page paper describing what sort of principal-agent relationship exist in the Ponzi scheme, how the Ponzi scheme works, and what it does to the firm, investors, financial market/public, what SEC actions were, and what you learn from this video.

Article Analysis 1

Search the GCU Library and find three different health care articles that use quantitative research. Do not use articles that appear in the Topic Materials or textbook. Complete an article analysis for each using the “Article Analysis 1” template.
