Follow the directions about length, spacing, etc
Use 12 Times New Roman Font, have a uniform 1-inch margin
Check your spelling and grammar
Prepare a reference list using APA style
The paper should include the following sections:
Title page (.5 point)
・“A review: Authors and title of the article you selected”
・Your name
Introduction (4 points)
・What is the central question that motivates this research? (1 point)
・What are the specific hypotheses being tested in the present study? (1.5 points)
・How does previous research motivate these hypotheses? (1.5 points)
Methods (3 points)
・Describe the sample/s (e.g., participant age) (1 point)
・Describe the experimental conditions (1 point)
・Describe the procedure (1 point)
Results (4 points)
・Describe the major findings. It is important that you do not describe each and every finding, but only those that are directly connected to the central question motivating the research. (2 points)
・Are findings consistent with the authors’ hypotheses? Are there any findings that are inconsistent or unexpected? (2 points)
Discussion (3 points)
・Briefly describe the “take home” message of this research (1 point)
・Briefly highlight the questions that are left unanswered and that would be worth pursuing in future research (2 points)
