Detailed Action Plan

*This is apart of a group project but I am only responsible for the Safety Plan.

Create a Safety Plan as a part of a detailed action plan.

Safety Plan, 2 components :

1) A plan to fix the issues mentioned in the Scenario(See attachment) -How much will it cost? (you get to make it up) Why should the owner spend the money? (this can be easily justified from the OSHA fines covered in your textbook)

2) What is your plan for the safety of employees on an ongoing basis? For example: Your employees work in a Retail location -How will you train them on fire safety? How will you train them on “what to do in case of a robbery”? They work with inventory -What about ladder safety or the proper way to use a box cutter or the proper way to lift a box? How often will you train?

The owner should be presented with a plan to correct current issues and to keep employees safe in the future. Again, it is easy to cost-justify when you talk about avoidance of possible fines.

When Kayla got off the bus, Patrice shot at her with her rifle, but missed and killed Angela, who was behind her. Patrice attempted to fire again at Kayla, but her rifle jammed and Patrice ran off.

Patrice’s attorney moved to dismiss the charge of the attempted murder of Kayla on the ground that Patrice could not have killed Kayla due to the malfunctioning of her rifle. The court granted the motion. Was the court correct in dismissing the attempted murder charge? Be sure to identify and describe the elements of a criminal act (at least three) and address impossibility and distinguish if it is a complete or incomplete attempt.

Also address any ethical or moralistic concerns associated with allowing a criminal defendant to avoid criminal responsibility by successfully asserting a legal defense such as impossibility.
Answer the questions above in a 2–3-page paper. Use at least three credible sources (one of which of which must be Contemporary criminal law : concepts, cases, and controversies / Lippman, University. 5th edition , ISBN 9781544308135
