Evolution of Your Art Interpretation [WLO: 4] [CLOs: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
Prior to beginning work on this discussion forum, read Chapters 10 and 11 of the textbook. Select a contemporary work of art or architecture from the textbook, a website listed on the ART101 Museum and Images Website document, one of the assigned virtual reality videos, or visit your local museum.
Your work of art should be one that you have not already examined elsewhere in this class, with the exception of the Week 3 assignment.
Provide a brief analysis of the work of art using the art history specific vocabulary and methods for approaching art you have learned over the past five weeks. Consider the media (materials), methods, subjects of the work of art, and the reflections of the region and Contemporary Art movement. You may want to revisit the Writing Center’s Summary vs. Analysis (Links to an external site.). In your analysis, answer the following questions:
• How do the political, philosophical, religious, and social contexts impact the art of today?
• How does Contemporary Art differ from other movements which you studied earlier in this course?
Reflect upon how your interpretation of art has changed since you examined the A Fall with the Rebel Angels in the Post Your Introduction discussion in Week 1, and address the following:
• What differences are there between the ways you interpreted that work of art in Week 1 to your interpretation now?
• How will these changes impact the way you view art moving forward?
Your initial post must be at least 200 words in length.
Cite your sources as outlined in the Ashford Writing Center (Links to an external site.) guides on APA: Citing Within Your Paper (Links to an external site.) and APA: Formatting Your References List (Links to an external site.). Assess Ethical Issues and Research Methods within Public Budgetary Procedures

Develop a comprehensive paper that examines the budgetary policies and procedures of your selected department or governmental entity. Be sure to include the following:

Provide the micro- and macro-level trend-lines of revenue and expenditure for the last 3 fiscal years.
Assess the accuracy of these figures to the best of your ability (support your assessment by interpreting foundational research methods in this field).
Discuss ethical dilemmas faced by officials for such practices, and then determine their impact on program evaluation and personnel performance evaluations. Provide specific examples where appropriate.
Justify the need for ethical and professional codes of conduct, especially for public employees, within budget and finance positions.

Narrative retelling of body of work

At some time in your life, you probably had an experience like Dick Gregory’s in “Shame,” something that happened in a classroom, a group of friends or peers, or a family situation that proved to be both embarrassing and educational. At the time, the experience hurt you very much, but you learned from it.

Write a narrative paragraph in which you retell this experience.
Try to include vivid details and plenty of conversation so that the incident will come to life.
Submit a one-page, double-spaced paper in which you compare and contrast the perspectives covered in your text.
Be sure to identify the distinguishing features of each of these perspectives or schools of thought.
Use current APA style and include in-text citations and sources for all references.
