Hi

It is very hard to evaluate your paper, because you’ve taken snippets of various articles in the syntactic literature that are on PPs but it is not clear what you are trying to do with it. I know you are not into syntax so I am happy to accept it, as is. Because of the lack of well-glossed sentences, I can’t even see if the P is a preposition or postposition and your point about agreeing prepositions is also lost. I can’t see if they move or not.

Some organizational issues:

At the end of your introduction, it would be nice to read what the point of your paper will be.

Starting with phases is quite ambitious (p. 2): we did not go over them at all in class. Your `overview of Turkish PPs’ is really about C, V, and T. What you write starting on p. 3 makes a lot more sense to start out with but do you understand all these concepts, anti-locality and phases?

P. 3, if you give a sentence, gloss it well! I can’t see where the P is in “Murat ogrenci dun hediye al”: I need a word-by-word gloss.

The trees on p. 10 are hard to understand too.

1) Spend one hour doing some research on ethnographic film. As long as your sources are credible (not Wikipedia, even though it is okay if you check there for any possibly interesting links), you can use any articles, books, and any film-related sources of your choice (Do not copy-paste, and please make sure you don’t plagiarize).
