I have attached what he wants corrected. Thanks and then the next part is due April 5 see below
-Assignment 2: Current Study and Methodology (about 2.5 pages). The current study
should briefly summarize the purpose of your paper. It should highlight the research
questions/hypotheses and goals of the current study. This section should also provide
clear independent and dependent variables. The Methods section should provide a
proposed methodology for testing your study. Particular attention should be given to the
sample size, sampling strategy, specific measures used in the study, the levels of
measurement used in the data, the nature of the study, and the operationalization of key
provided below.
Current Study
The current study section should provide a brief overview of key themes
identified in the literature review. In other words, provide a 2 to 3 sentence
synopsis of what is missing in the previous literature and how your study seeks to
address that. Then, in another few sentences, discuss the purpose, research
question, and hypotheses of your study. Thus, your current study section should:
1. Highlight key findings from the literature review in 2 to 3 sentences.
2. Identify the purpose of your study.
3. Propose research questions or directional hypotheses for your study.
4. Identify the dependent variable(s), key independent variable(s), and
control variable(s).
Methods
This section should provide a proposed methodology from which students will
test their study. Students should identify:
1. The participants/sample and sample size used for the study (this is all
hypothetical).
2. The sampling strategy that justifies how the participants will be
obtained for the study.
3. Specific measures used in the study. *Pro-tip: do not try to reinvent the
wheel with these measures. Look at the studies you cite in your
literature review for an idea of what types of measures you can use in
your study.
4. Operationalized definitions for each measure.
5. The level of measurement for each measure.
6. The nature of the study. In other words, is the study exploratory,
explanatory, or an evaluation?
