Questions to be answered in your final report:
I formulated the following hypotheses (see below). Your task is either to reject them or to prove that they are correct.
1. People who feel financial shortages tend to be less satisfied with government institutions and democracy.
2. Religious people are more open-minded towards civil liberties and personal freedoms. They are more likely to accept personal freedoms such as gay partnership, gay marriages.
Your papers should be submitted through Moodle system. The final project will consist of 50% of your final grade.
Objectives: To demonstrate the ability to set the research strategy, find and acquire necessary data and information, access the data, choose the right variables; analyse, argument present and visualize findings and findings.
Form: There are no particular requirements or restrictions on data presentation. As far if above-written objectives are fulfilled (clear, readable arguments supported by data and preferably illustrations), your results may be uploaded in *doc, *docx, *pdf, *odt or *ppt format. DO NOT UPLOAD “RAW” CALCULATIONS OR SPSS OUTPUT FILES WITHOUT EXPLANATIONS. Arguments and interpretations are the keys to a good report.
Software: SPSS for data processing in computer labs. For visualization, you may use any office programs (excel, PPoint, or your preferred open code alternatives).
