Develop a personal leadership doctrine incorporating leadership models, communication and leadership theories, styles, and ethical frameworks presented, discussed, and analyzed in this course.
Students will write a paper to include:
an introduction that discusses the importance leadership has on one’s career and personal life;
a critical analysis on why leader communication is important and ways it can be applied and aligned with organizational vision;
an evaluation of leadership strategies, communication skills, and models necessary to integrate leadership theories,
a critical examination of at least two-three theories/approaches that can be applied to achieve sustainable organizational objectives. Include in the discussion the theory/approaches intended outcome and the importance each model has for leaders and for the organization;
a breakdown of techniques and strategies used to identify internal and external market opportunities (think SWOT analysis). Include a discussion on the importance this can give to leaders to incorporate communication strategies that cultivate responsible and sustainable organizations;
a conclusion that ties the importance of self-development to leadership and the importance this doctrine can contribute to the student’s future career and personal successes.
