Notes:
PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS NOT A MOVIE REVIEW BUT A CRITEQUE. I was told by the online assistant to select Movie Review for a movie critique. The course is about writing techniques within the artform of film. This assignment will be judged based on how it is written as a critique.
The lecturer’s guidelines/outline of what she expects for critique writing:
(An introductory statement that speaks to the critique’s perspective)

• What was the weakest element of the film?
(justify my response)
• Was there any element of the film that detracted from my concentration or enhanced it? (analysis)
• What can this piece be compared with/contrasted to?
• Are there any suggestions for improvement? (problem solving)
• What was my overall reaction to the performance? (evaluation)
